HANKKi at the 2025 Lilac Festival

What a way to kick off the summer! ☀️🌸

On Sunday, June 1st, the HANKKi food truck was proud to be part of Calgary’s 2025 Lilac Festival — and it was a day we won’t soon forget.

The streets were filled with music, sunshine, and so many people discovering new flavours and making lasting memories. We were truly grateful for the chance to share our Korean street food with such a warm and welcoming crowd.

Some moments stay with us — Friends laughing over cheese pull challenges, families sharing their first bites together, and familiar faces coming back for seconds (and thirds). Each small exchange, each smile, reminded us why we do what we do.

To everyone who visited our truck, thank you. These moments remind us that food is more than just a meal. It’s a way to connect, to share, and to celebrate together.

And this is just the beginning. This summer, the HANKKi food truck will continue to come to you. We’re hitting the road and visiting more festivals and more communities with the same heart and flavours you know and love.
